Episode 1 - Constable Tom Coffin

Constables Tom Coffin and Stephen Rodden, attended The Commodore Hotel in Penetanguishene and ran into a man who Coffin had arrested a year prior for a DUI, Allan Macdonald. MacDonald shot Coffin in the back of the head, devastating an entire community.

Episode 2 - Stephanie Hoddinott

Stepanie Hoddinott’s ex-boyfriend, Jacob Ferrier, wanted to get back together. Upon Stephanie’s denial, Jacob shot and killed Stephanie and then himself. This case rocked the small community of Midland, Ontario.

Episode 3 - Katlin Cousineau

Susanna Balogh, her boyfriend, and a friend kept Katlin captive in their farmhouse basement and eventually set the house on fire to cover the crime. This story still haunts the citizens of Midland, Ontario to this day.

After leaving the party, 18-year old Jake Just decided to take a shortcut through the woods of an area called Sunnyside in Midland, Ontario, never to be seen again. This is part one of the story of the theories surrounding this case.
