Sandra bakes a blueberry pie that the whole family enjoys. Aaron shows his mother-in-law how to turn her blueberry pie into blueberry toaster pastries that are sure to be a hit.

Episode 4 - Spicy Ginger Whoopie Pies

Rae’s spicy ginger cookies were her grandmother’s favourite, and Aaron shows her how to turn those delicious cookies into a whoopie pie.

Episode 5 - Christmas Mincemeat Tarts

The recipe for Pam’s mincemeat tarts has been in her family for four generations, and has always been a favorite around the holidays. Aaron shows Pam how to turn her tarts into a shortbread mincemeat square.

Episode 6 - Shortbread Cookie Tart

Aaron’s love of baking started in the kitchen with his mom and now they’ve come full circle. Aaron shows his mom how to take their family favourite shortbread cookies and bring the recipe to new heights by Baking It Up A Notch.

Episode 1 - Holiday Wreath Cake

A delicious holiday feast is only made better with a dessert fit for the festivities. For this special holiday episode, host Aaron McInnis and his special guest Jarred transform Jarred’s black bottom muffins into a mint chocolate cream cheese bundt cake wreath that the whole family can enjoy.

Episode 2 - Partridgeberry Caramel Cake

Susan’s partridgeberry pudding with brown sugar sauce has been a family favorite for many years. Chef Aaron heads to Kippens, Newfoundland and Labrador to join Susan to transform her partridgeberry pudding recipe into a partridgeberry caramel cake.

Episode 3 - Carrot Cake Ice Cream Sandwiches

Chef Aaron is in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador to join Mary, who has a recipe to an award-winning carrot cake that they’re going to turn into carrot cake ice cream sandwiches.

Episode 4 - Caramel Mousse Cake with Poached Caramel Pears

Chef Aaron travels to Codroy Valley to meet Melissa who has a family recipe for a gingerbread upside down pear cake that they’re going to transform into a caramel mousse cake with poached caramel pears.

Episode 5 - Bakeapple Cannoli

Chef Aaron heads to Port aux Basque, Newfoundland and Labrador to meet with Betty, who has the best bakeapple pie in town. Chef Aaron and Betty transform Betty’s famous pie into bakeapple cannoli.

Episode 6 - Napoleon Dessert (Mille-Feuille)

Chef Aaron travels to Port au Port, Newfoundland and Labrador to visit Ashley at the Our Lady of Mercy Heritage Church Tea Room, where she has prepared her puff pastry flakies. Chef Aaron and Ashley transform the flaky recipe into the locally famous desert, a Napoleon.
