Episode 1

John grapples with the onset of a global pandemic and his plans shifting beneath his feet; through a stroke of good luck, he finds what he thinks to be his dream house; he quickly learns that the house comes with a string or two attached.

John learns a little more than he bargains for about the Missus Downstairs; it would appear the Missus has her eye on John; unable to move or breathe, John tries his best to break free from her watchful gaze.

John discovers that a long lost friend from school is related to The Missus; he must now learn to navigate a world with two Missuses; throughout it all, he proudly learns to put the needs of others in front of his own.

John returns home to an unexpected visitor after some time away; the Missus can't wait to get a whiff of the new houseguest, and pulls out all the stops to make her way in.

John is concerned and wracked with guilt about both the direction his new job is taking and the health of the Missus; the Missus leaves the basement, which forces John to come to grips with some harsh realities.

Beside himself with guilt and loneliness, John faces a life without the Missus; a huge void has opened inside of him, forcing him to focus on the things that mean most; meanwhile, the Missus is adjusting well to her new surroundings.
