Episodes

Episode 1 - The Bail Plan

Downtown St. John’s “corner-boy” Snook is in court for the latest of a long list of minor infractions. Judge Power, a boyhood friend of Snook’s, suggests that a sentence beyond a simple fine might finally be warranted.

Episode 2 - Litter Buster

On his first “good deeds” day, spent collecting litter in a park, Snook waxes on to Dougie’s smartphone-camera about “community service.” A chance meeting with the Premier sparks nostalgia about politics past, and how “Fadder” met the world in his day.

Episode 3 - Painting the Past

Snook attempts to paint some playground equipment as Dougie reveals what he’s posted online from yesterday’s activity. Dwayne scoffs as he tolerates this whole “good deeds” farce.

Episode 4 - City Hall Gall

Snook cleans graffiti off a wall at City Hall when the Mayor appears and objects to the infringement on union protocols. A passer-by defends Snook’s right to “Help Out!”, and bemoans today’s overly regimented world.

Episode 5 - River of Nightmares

Snook attempts to retrieve garbage from a city river while prison-guard Dwayne opts to do a bit of fishing on the side. While he casts his line, Snook gets a FaceTime call from Judge Rick who’s concerned that the videos Dougie keeps posting are going viral.

Episode 6 - The Crosswalk Caper

Snook plays crossing-guard outside a primary school, waxing nostalgic about his classroom glory days. A parent is dubious, and Dougie gets nailed by a passing motorist for an ancient infraction.

Episode 7 - Stables and Fables

Snook scoops up horse poop at the local police stables while Dwayne and Bette are put off by the stench. Comedian Mark Critch is spotted shooting a fundraiser promo, and gets tapped for a character reference.

Episode 8 - Planting in the Park

Snook’s plan to plant some flowers in the Park finds a willing accomplice in city worker Gerry. However, another FaceTime call from a now-enraged Rick wilts the bloom on this rose. A full TV news story has hit the airwaves, and suspicion is high that Rick has something to do with Snook’s public antics.

Episode 9 - Wedding Windows

Washing the windows at a local bridal shop, Snook describes the majesty of the old-time Newfoundland Wedding and laments the end of his ‘good deeds’ adventure. Bette arrives to wonder aloud on how she and Snook never made the ultimate relationship leap.

Episode 10 - The Sentence

Snook, Bette, Dwayne and Dougie are all at the courthouse, ready for the worst. Judge (Rick) Power agrees to view a final video from Dougie, one that paints Snook as ‘community hero’.
