At Deep Bay
City: WinnipegEach year, a jury from Parks Canada and the Manitoba Arts Council select artists for a two-week residency at Riding Mountain National Park. Artists stay in the historic Deep Bay log cabin, built in 1934 on Treaty 2 Territory. At Deep Bay follows these artists as they take a break from their hectic lives to concentrate on their artistic practice.

Michael Boss is a visual artist from Winnipeg with a passion for investigating his cultural heritage. We follow Michael as he rides his Harley motorcycle searching for forgotten Ukrainian churches, the subject of his intricate pencil drawings.
Episode 3 - Chimwemwe Undi
Chimwemwe Undi is a performance and page poet living and writing in Winnipeg. We follow Chimwemwe as she dives into writing, hungry to take advantage of every quite moment of her retreat from city life.
Episode 4 - Diana Thorneycroft
Diana Thorneycroft is a Winnipeg artist with international acclaim, best known for her photographs depicting facets of Canadian identity. We follow Diana as she crafts puppets in the cabin for staging at night on the beach for her latest dark animated narrative.
