Episode 2: Chris Stevenson

We all think sports writers live the good life, right? Maybe that’s why Chris Stevenson calls himself “someone who writes about sports”. Norm and Allison find out what it’s really like to travel on the pro golf circuit, write for NHL.com, and do daily coverage of the Ottawa Senators as a Habs fan.

Gabrielle Mackenzie’s career path was written in the stars – literally. From astrology, to comedy, to video games, to speeches for ambassador, she’s had just about every writing job you can imagine. Norm and Allison find out how she made it all work from her adopted home of Ottawa.

Episode 4: Jon Baker

Jon Baker is not, in fact, one of The Fabulous Baker Boys (sorry Norm), but he is still pretty wonderful. Starting out in advertising, and now writing for a very popular real estate blog, Norm and Allison find out how he has carved out his unconventional writing career.

Episode 5: Kyle Brownrigg

Kyle Brownrigg is a funny guy. He recently opened for Jeff Ross and won the award for Ottawa’s Least Worst Comic. Not bad, eh? Norm and Allison unleash Kyle’s sarcastic wit as he gets real about the surprisingly cut-throat scene in the city and the one heckler he still can’t shake.

Episode 6: Michelle Vodrazka

Bodybuilder. Nutrition expert. Cookbook author. Michelle Vodrazka is definitely someone you want in your corner. Norm and Allison talk to her about the world of self-publishing and self-promotion.
