Episodes

Episode 1

Alex and Shauna visit Moonshine Creek Distillery in the small community of Waterville, N.B. to learn from brothers Jeremiah and Josh Clark about how moonshine and other spirits are distilled.

Episode 2

Shauna and Alex stop in Charlottetown, P.E.I. to talk to Marsha Gallant and Mike "Hogie" Hogan about the brewery and their involvement in supporting local artists and community betterment initiatives.

Episode 3

In Alex and Shauna's hometown of Fredericton, N.B., they drop in on their friends Adam Clawson and Nicola Mason, co-owners of Red Rover Craft Cider, to learn about how the duo from England introduced alcoholic cider to New Brunswick.

Episode 4

Just across the harbour from Halifax, New Scotland Brewing calls Dartmouth, N.S. home. Shauna and Alex speak to co-owner brothers Scott and Kevin Saccary and brewer Mike Gillespie to hear how their brewery started as a clothing business and became a destination for craft beer and live music.

Episode 5

Just outside of Charlottetown, in Warren Grove, P.E.I., Alex and Shauna speak with Mike Beamish and his son Greg about Deep Roots Distillery, which started as a hobby farm and over time became an award-winning distillery using a variety of home-grown ingredients.

Episode 6

Alan Norman and Jerrica Kennedy reinvigorated an iconic auto garage in their home city of Moncton, N.B. to become a brewery bearing the same name: Tire Shack. Shauna and Alex sample their eclectic array of beers and talk to the co-owners about their journey back to the Maritimes.

Episode 7

On the picturesque Kingston Peninsula, Dunham’s Run Estate Winery is hosting a “picking party” when Alex and Shauna drop in to help pick grapes and speak to owner Tony Rickett and winemaker Macey Ruff about their history of making “serious wine for people who don’t take themselves too seriously.”

Episode 8

Named for its proximity to the pedestrian trail system in Fredericton. N.B., Trailway Brewing is a draw for lovers of the New England IPA -- and for Shauna and Alex, who live next door. They learn from co-owners Jake Saunders and Dan Mason about Trailway’s origins and ongoing projects including The Drome bowling alley.

Episode 9

Jost Vineyards is well known across Nova Scotia as a coastal destination in Malagash, for food, music, and wine. Alex and Shauna speak to winemaker Gina Haverstock and co-owner Donna Sparkes about the vineyard’s history and how wine is harvested and produced.

Episode 10

Shauna and Alex take a winter trip to the northern New Brunswick city of Edmundston to visit Petit-Sault, one of New Brunswick’s earliest craft breweries, whose co-owner André Leger also co-owns a popular ski resort, Mont Farlagne.
