Episode 2 - Petrina Bromley

Petrina Bromley trained and began her performance career in Newfoundland, but sailed her talent all the way to the lights of Broadway. Some of her closest friends and colleagues reflect on who she is and how she did it, while her image is captured in paint by local artist and entertainer Pete Soucy.

Episode 3 - Marnie Parsons

Host Pete Soucy paints the likeness of celebrated children’s lit publisher Marnie Parsons. Parsons has been producing high quality books for decades from her Tors Cove premises on the Southern Shore of Newfoundland. Scores of fans sing her praises both for the dozens of titles released, and her overall contributions to the community.

Episode 4 - Beni Malone

Host Pete Soucy creates an image of friend and former colleague Beni Malone. For 40 years, Malone has single-handedly developed circus performers and audiences in Newfoundland & Labrador.

Actor Gordon Pinsent hails from Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and he’s always been proud for all to know it. The subject of a portrait by host Pete Soucy, Pinsent is celebrated for not only his broad and long career, but for his warmth and mentorship.

Episode 6 - Gerald Squires

Painter Pete Soucy remembers legendary Newfoundland artist Gerry Squires. Family and friends reflect on Squires’ life and career as Soucy renders his likeness on a canvas salvaged from Gerry’s own studio.
