Some of her closest friends and colleagues reflect on who she is and how she did it, while her image is captured in paint by local artist and entertainer Pete Soucy.

Host Pete Soucy paints the likeness of celebrated children’s lit publisher Marnie Parsons. Parsons has been producing high quality books for decades from her Tors Cove premises on the Southern Shore of Newfoundland. Painter Pete Soucy remembers legendary Newfoundland artist Gerry Squires. Family and friends reflect on Squires’ life and career as Soucy renders his likeness on a canvas salvaged from Gerry’s own studio.
