Episode 1 - GUARDIANS OF A SECRET
In hopes of solving a centuries old mystery, author Katie Hickox and her local research team are scouring Prince Edward Island in search of artifacts or evidence dated back to the Middle ages. Ralph Yeo and Wayne Ellis take Katie to the Eastern part of PEI where they believe to be the island’s first European explorer and first settlers.
Episode 2 - BURIED IN THE DUNES
Katie meets up with a member of her research team who has discovered a very old cannon at French River. Wayne leads the team to an area nearby where a local fisherman has reported seeing wreckage, and the team makes an unexpected discovery. makes another amazing discovery.
Episode 3 - EVIDENCE UNEARTHED
Katie and her team meet with Dorothy Peters, curator of the Keir Museum, where they learn about very early battle that allegedly took place on the island centuries before settlers arrived. Peters shows them a sword blade found on the battle site by a local man.
Episode 4 - ARTIFACTS & ANCIENTS
Katie meets metal detectorist Rick Barton who has unearthed hundreds of coins and an item he believes to be medieval. Katie traces one of the items in Rick’s collection to Italy, possibly linking explorers from the Mediterranean to PEI as early as 1613.
Episode 5 - A PIRATE'S SECRET
Ralph takes Katie and Wayne to a river inlet to meet Robin Stevenson, an enthusiastic collector who has agreed to show them his artifacts including a sword and cannonballs. Katie shares a local legend about Capt. Kidd, and Wayne tells a local story about another pirate treasure.
Episode 6 - EVIDENCE CARVED IN STONE
Katie and Ralph investigate an unusual boulder found in a field on a North Shore cliff by a local man. Historian John Flood asks for Katie’s help investigating mysterious carvings on a large rock on his family’s property.
