This television series focus on Montreal’s artists that are new and established: the artist’s past, their current career and their future. We aim to understand where they came from and where they are going. It’s an opportunity to explore their universe: their team, their mentors and everything and everyone surrounding their musical endeavors.

Episodes

Episode 1: Kaila

This episode introduces Montreal born vocalist, KAILA PICARD, from where she started, to where she is now and where she hopes to be in the future. She started to sing at the age of 3 with her grand-father and quickly learned the importance of self-motivation and self-discipline.

Episode 2: Das Blankout

This episode introduces the three members of funky rock n’ roll band Das Blankout. From where they started, to where they are now, and what they hope the band will accomplish in the future.

Episode 3

This episode introduces Montreal-based musician Bayla. As a child, she was told she would never be able to sing. Proving doctors wrong, she gained attention from music lovers and industry professionals when she posted her song, "Breathe", which went viral on YouTube.

Episode 4

This episode introduces the traditional music band Les Poules à Colin. We will discover how their musical families influenced their music style, how they work together as a team, and their biggest accomplishments as musicians.

Episode 5

The Vasts, a Montreal-based band have honed a unique, signature sound that draws influences from folk, indie, rock, and country, with rich harmonies and a booming trumpet. This episode will introduce Montreal-based band The Vasts from where they started, to where they are now and where they hope to be in the future. The episode will focus on Nicolas Carette, the lead singer.

Episode 6

Florida-born Montreal resident Alan Prater’s talent and unwavering dedication has led him to perform and record with some of the world’s most respected artists. This episode will introduce Alan Prater and his band The Brooks. He’ll talk about where he started, to where he is now and where he hopes to be in the future.
