Episode 1

For Lori, living as an Armenian in Toronto can often feel like she is living 2 different lives. To bring balance Lori’s home, family, and community has helped her to stay connected with her Armenian background.

Episode 2

For Qudsia, coming to terms with her husband’s death was one of the most difficult things she’s ever had to endure. She needed to find a way to fight her depression and feel alive again.

Episode 3

Bernice immigrated to Toronto from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Struggling to feel like she fit in, she now uses food as a way to connect with people around her, and feel like she’s back at home again.

Episode 4

In an attempt to adjust to Toronto life from the Philippines, Luz cooks traditional food to remind her of her mother, and make her feel connected to her childhood and culture.
