#MTLUrbanRace : Meet the teams

Montreal Urban Race is a citywide treasure hunt filled with puzzles and challenges. The teams must compete in order to win the grand prize. Who will beat the clock and finish 1st? Which team will you cheer for?

#TeamBlueberry Pancakes
Jegibob and Mohamad have been friends since the day they met at a YouTube gathering. They like challenges, and they’re pretty confident about winning the race. Jegibog is 20 years old and moved to Canada from Haiti when he was 7. He loves trying new things and this is why he auditioned for #MontrealUrbanRace. Mohamad is also 20 years old. His parents are from Syria, but he grew up in Montreal. One of his favorite things to do in the city is walk down Sainte-Catherine Street. Funny fact? These guys don’t even like blueberries!

#TeamRegoatThis
Jonathan and Davison are behind the YouTube channel “Regoat This!”. It satirizes, parodies and generally disrespects popular culture and online media. Davison is a web producer and has appeared in numerous television shows and commercials. Montreal is her hometown, so she knows her way around the city! Jonathan is a designer, photographer and online video creator. He is known for not sleeping and he is planning to take over the internet one video at the time! They sure are full of fun!

#TeamFatCat
Team Fat Cat is made up of two sassy Spanish sisters: Melissa and Jessica. What inspired their team name? Their very own large cat at home, of course! Jessica is a 21 year old Journalism student at Concordia University. She is a fast learner, has awesome writing skills and is very sociable. Her sister, Melissa, is a 23 year old graduate in Child Studies. She is organized, a rational thinker and thoughtful. They were born and raised in the heart of Montreal and they feel ready to conquer whatever challenges the race brings!

#TeamOverThinkers
Adwoa and Eduardo met after class a couple of semesters back. Adwoa is a blogger and a YouTuber. She posts about her musical interests and other issues dear to her heart. Eduardo is a student and a filmmaker. When he needed a teammate to compete in the race, Adwoa figured it would be quite fun! But, who knows where that will bring these inquisitive individuals!
